Congratulations to Dr. Ken Olm on his new children’s book Lucy & Larry, a heartwarming tale about bravery, curiosity, and the magic of making new friends, published by Flint Hills Publishing!
Lucy the cat has everything she needs … a cozy home, a sunny window, and delicious treats. But there’s just one problem—she’s never been outside!

Larry the lizard spends his days racing through the neighborhood and playing with friends
under the big blue sky… but he’s never been inside a house!
With giggles, surprises, and a friendship neither of them expected, Lucy and Larry learn that trying new things isn’t so scary after all—it might even be the best adventure yet!
About the Author
Dr. Olm, while completing a full 50 years as a professor of astronomy, physics, and mathematics, wrote three memoirs and two novels. All well received, his novel, Brown Enough, earned the Kansas Notable Book award for 2019.
Dr. Ohm lived his early life on a small dirt farm in central Kansas, with no running water, no electricity, but an outhouse nearby; his life was rather barren except for an occasional dust storm, tornado, or rattlesnake and an overwhelming star-filled night sky.
Now, at this late stage of life, he hopes to return some of the excitement and enthusiasm for reading and writing to future generations.
